About Drinker's World (a.k.a. drinkersworld.com)

Drinker's World was conceived over a 40 ounce bottle of Magnum malt liquor and a poker game by two cousins from Indianapolis, Indiana in December of 2006. After a trip to the liquor store, and a purchase of the aforementioned malt liquor, conversation started happening during the tasting about other sites like 40ouncemaltliquor.com and 40ouncebeer.com, and how it would be fun to start our own review website. We weren't sure the exact direction we wanted to take, but thought the premise (while not original) would still be fun and help us to expand our drinking selections. Well, the concept lasted past our Magnum-induced discussion, and on January 10, 2007 Drinker's World was launched.

Drinker's World Milestones

January 10, 2007 - Drinker's World was launched under the domain name drinkersworld.com. The original site template is now gone in favor of a less bloggy-looking site.

January 19, 2007 - Drinker's World's first review is posted on the website. More soon followed.

January 25, 2007 - Drinker's World enters MySpace under www.myspace.com/drinkersworld and quickly builds a large base of Friends.

March 29, 2009 - Drinker's World gets set up on Facebook with a Fan page at http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/pages/Drinkers-World/60725902529.

April 19, 2009 - Drinker's World gets a Twitter account set up at http://twitter.com/drinkersworld.
