How Jimmy Carter Saved Craft Beer

Sound like a joke?  Well, it's not.  As noted yesterday, in 1979 then-President Jimmy Carter was the one who deregulated the beer industry, which opened the doors up for craft brewing in the United States.  The laws after prohibition meant a tightly-controlled government hold on brewing.  Thanks to Jimmy Carter, we can now all enjoy the plethora of craft beer we have available to us today.
