For once we are getting a review out on a relatively-new beer: Miller Chill.  I picked up a single of this on a recent trip to the liquor store to try out and give my review of.  I am a fan of Corona, so I was curious how this stacked up against it, plus how it was in general.  If you have been wanting to try this but haven't gotten around to it, hopefully this review will help you make your decision.

Ken's Review

Taste: D While this stuff goes down really smooth, the aftertaste leaves a lot to be desired.  The overall taste is very bland, and all you really get out of it is a feeling like you drank salt water.  There is a slight hint of lime, but it could be more prominent than the salt taste is.  This is very poor on taste, so it may be good if you are just wanted to down something to get you drunk(er).

Packaging: B Miller Chill comes in a green glass bottle and has a green and white label that appears to try to give off some feeling of Mexico, but I don't buy it.  I assume the over-use of green is supposed to in some way help reflect the supposed lime flavoring.  Packaging gets at least a decent rating because it is nowhere near as bad as the taste.

Value: C I purchased a single 12oz. bottle of this to try, which cost me $1.50.  That, in itself, isn't a great deal, especially considering what you are paying for.  I passed the six-packs of this stuff but unfortunately didn't think to look at the price.  I can't image a sixer would be too much worse than Miller Lite.  In any case, put your money towards a better beer.

Drunkeness: C-  Miller Chill comes in at a pretty poor 4.2% alcohol content, so to get really trashed you would be shilling out for a least a case.  Because this stuff tastes so poor, and costs more than it should, your best bet in the drunkeness department is to move onto a liquor, or spend your money on a better quality, higher alcohol content brew.

Overall: C   Miller Chill is really just a lazy version of Corona.  It tries to take what you have to add to Corona (lime and salt) and give it in an all-in-one package.  Unfortunately, this stuff really misses the mark in about every category.  As I've stated a few times already, save your money and go for a better beer.  That is, unless you have a friend who paid for it and you can at least try it for free!
