Review of Maui Brewing Company Bikini Blonde Lager

Zach was kind enough to bring this back from a recent trip to California last weekend, and I had a chance to hang out with him and Cari Sunday night to partake in it. If I remember right I think this is the first beer I have ever had brewed in Hawaii. So read on and see how this first experience with a Hawaiian beer went.
Ken's Review
Taste: A- I really enjoyed the taste of Bikini Blonde Lager. It is a very light and crisp beer, with subtle hints of fruitiness on the backend. Mango or something of that nature, I think. Leaves a nice aftertaste and does not sit heavy at all. Great, especially on a cool night in August (which is rare here) sitting around on the deck hanging with friends.
Packaging: A There is a lot to discuss here. The main feature is a hula girl sitting down with a tall glass of beer in the palm of her hand. Below her is "Bikini Blonde Lager" in a sort of native font, with "What the Sailors Really Come to Shore For" underneath that. On the back of the can is an explanation of why they use cans, and how cans are better for environments like Hawaii. Also has their 2008 World Beer Cup Silver Award logo on it. Color scheme is very Hawaiian, and an overall nice packaging for a nice brew.
Value: ?? Again, being one that was brought for me I am not sure on this front, but I'm sure Zach can shed some light on what he paid for it..
Drunkeness: B- Bikini Blonde Lager comes in at 4.5%, which is a little low but I don't know that this is a beer you want to get smashed on or even buzzing fast. With the refreshing nature of it I appreciate that it is a lower content so you can enjoy more of it before getting anywhere near a drunken abyssal. So I can't fault it too much here.
Overall: A- I am a little disappointed this isn't more easily available. There are a lot of occasions where I think this beer would be enjoyable to get my hands on. If you do have the chance to get some, any time of year, it is definitely worth a try. It is one of the smoother beers I think I've ever had and goes down really nice and clean.
