As if we really need any more bad Budweiser products (Bud Select and Bud Light Lime not included), Anheuser-Busch has announced a plan to release a new version of Bud Light. No, they are not reformulating their crap Bud Light to try to make it better. Instead, they are coming out with Bud Light Golden Wheat. Personally, I don't think that adding wheat to Bud Light is going to make it better, but of course I'm sure we'll try it when it comes out to see what it is about. Who knows, maybe hell will freeze over and it will be decent.

This one was also a selection in the Zach and Cari "drink our beer" overstock. Being a fan of Pale Ale, and not ever really hearing of Smuttynose Brewing Company, I was very interested to give this Pale a whirl. See how this first tasting of any of the Smuttynose line of beers went by reading on.

So hanging out at Zach and Cari's last night (where else?) there were some random samples they began to get overstocked on, so that resulted in a sort of "drink our beer" party. One of the selections in the fridge was the Dortmunder Actien-Brauerei Original, or DAB for short, which I may end up referring to in that manner because the actual name is a bitch to type. But the taste? Read on to see if it was easier to drink than pronounce.

Zach and I were at a family get together last weekend in Ohio. After the beer that was available started to run short, he and I made a trip to a liquor store near our uncle's house and found this beer selection (among a few others). I had never had anything from Stegmaier before. Read on to see how the first experience with this brewer went.

As if I didn't have enough to drink on Sunday with the Michelob selections in the afternoon, I was afforded the opportunity at a party that night to have one of a 12 pack of Session that Zach brought back from a trip to Florida. This beer isn't available anywhere in the vicinity of our state that I know of, so I jumped at the chance to try this one. Read on to see how it stacked up in my review Trifecta of this past Sunday's choices.
