In a follow up to the Shock Top review, this was my second selection while visiting a friend of mine this past weekend who purchased a mixed 12 pack of Michelob beers. There were only 2 other choices besides the Shock Top and this one, one of which I had already tried before and the other didn't interest me that much. So here is the second review of the day from Michelob. Read on to see if Hop Hound was a good choice, or belonged in a pile of dog shit.

Took a trip down to my "old neighborhood" on Sunday afternoon to see a friend of mine, who had just the night before purchased a 12 pack of Michelob mixed selection. One of them was the Shock Top, which I tried first. Michelob has not disappointed so far with the wide range of their beverages I've tried. See how this seasonal stacked up by reading on.

This is number 3 of 4 in the selections my boss brought me last Saturday night to try. This one we did not crack at the party, and I think he wanted them out of his fridge, so I was the lucky recipient. Dinkel Acker is made by Spaten, which you might remember I tore their Optimator up and down the wall awhile ago. Read on to see if this one was good, or if it kept the tarnished streak for this brewer going.

The other night, Cari wanted to have some beer and knowing I like wheats of all kinds, she decided on Rogue Mom Hefeweizen. I haven't had too many Rogue beers, but they have a good reputation and I love the wheats, so I had high expectations. Read on to see if Mom was able to deliver on a quality brew.

At the 30th birthday party last night of our new review Jason, my boss brought this little number for me to try with him. Apparently the back story is that his dad purchased it and hated it, so my boss thought it would be fun to bring it and offload it on me. Since the name and the opinion of his dad pointed in the direction of nasty, and because we've just had too damn many good reviews lately, I was all for trying this. Read on and see what I thought.
